Thank you for writing this. Thank you for sharing your experience, a brave thing to do. I am really trying to understand what is happening right now, and your perspective gives me insight. I hope we can hold on to our humanity through all of this.
One thing this trip really brought home for me was that understanding what is happening is very, very not simple. I'm grateful for your presence here and your comment.
Oh, Jena. I waited to read this until I had sufficient time to sit with it. That was the right decision. I became increasingly quiet, subdued even, as I experienced your words. So deeply touching and full of wisdom. And the challenges for all of us -- to live with feelings that don't neatly reside on one side of the fence or other, and to live life in the midst of our awareness of horror. Thank you. And love.
This resonates so deeply: “I wished they could teleport into the three-dimensionality of anguish and devotion and real-ness and diversity and despair and exhaustion and depth.”
I wish we could all handle the complexity of embracing three-dimensionality. Grateful and happy for you the trip was everything you hoped and knew it would be. Oh, humanity!! And so glad you can shine this out to everyone. We all need bridges. We are so lost it so many ways. Anyway, thank you. You said so many wise and deep things here. Thank you.
I’m always here for multiplicity, hard as it often is to hold.
It is so hard. And so important. 💟
