TY Jenna,

I tried to buy you a latte. How do I do that as a small token gratitude to you in appreciation for your on-going sharing. I love your wisdom and honesty!

Hey Jena. This is Daniel Berlin. I enjoyed the grip on me that your pies on grips had on me. I had a feeling that you were going to come for that wonderful landing with your little ones. They are so lucky to have you on the inside. You have the art of poetry with your parts.

Such a timely message for my hubby and me today! Fred broke his arm last wk in a fall and his rt arm is in a full cast. Yesterday we had Mr Grab bar, an Aging in Place expert come to our home for an eval and installation of grab bars in two bathrooms. It’s not cheap to install them, however, one trip to the ER may cost even more! This brought up many issues for both of us about vulnerability, fear of falling, taking risks, are we worth spending the $ on these assistive devices? etc. you inspired me, Jenna

GRAB BAR

G Growing old is normal and inevitable

R Rage is useless

A Aging in place requires adaptation

B Bravery to admit our fragility is essential

B Being honest takes courage

A Aging comes with challenges that we can adapt to

R Reality opens us to new possibilities

Kathy, I'm so sorry about the broken arm! This acronym is brilliant – so wise and optimistic. Like you.
