Oh , yes. Ilya ‘s poem haunts me nearly every day now. I frost heard him read it several years ago at the Palm Beach poetry festival in Delray Beach and then again on Thursday in a zoom class. After hearing him for me at least , it seems all other poems with references to war are tributaries to his writing being the first. ThanKs to all!
